Most families come to the Cape to relax on the beaches and enjoy dining in the varied restaurants. You shouldn't feel that your activities are limited to such pursuits though, as diverse opportunities abound. There are numerous sporting activities, from golf to biking to fishing. Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket are easily accessible. There are plenty of whale watching, hiking, and bird-watching opportunities for the nature lover. If a rainy day has you trapped inside, there are still a number of activities to enjoy. You can visit the numerous shops, art galleries, museums, and restaurants. You can stay in and rent a video or go out to the movies (Hoyt's Cinema, East Harwich). You could even see a play in the theater (Monomoy Theater, Chatham).
